Accounting Letter of Recognition
The Accounting Letter of Recognition at Frederick Community College is a compact program designed to provide students with foundational skills in recording financial transactions and preparing statements using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Through a mix of accounting theory and hands-on training with computerized systems, the program prepares students for immediate entry-level roles while awarding a digital badge upon completion.

The Accounting Letter of Recognition provides students with basic accounting and computer skills including recording transactions using generally accepted accounting principles, preparing financial statements, and using a computerized accounting system.
